Terms of service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Simplif ("Simplif", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
- Company number: 13592246
- Email: support@simplif.com
2. About these terms
2.1 These terms apply to all purchases made by consumers (individuals buying for purposes outside their trade, business or profession) through our online store.
2.2 You must be 18 or over to place an order.
2.3 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. If you live outside the UK, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live (for example, in Norway or the EU), even where they give you more protection than these terms.
3. Placing an order and forming a contract
3.1 Our website explains the steps you need to take to place an order. Before you pay, you will have the chance to review your order and correct any mistakes.
3.2 After you place your order, you will normally receive an order confirmation email for your records. Please check the details and contact us straight away if anything is wrong.
3.3 Our contract with you is formed as soon as you place your order. If we are unable to fulfil your order (for example, because an item is out of stock or we cannot deliver to your address), we will tell you and refund anything you have already paid.
3.4 If we discover a clear pricing or typographical error after you order, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We will always tell you if this happens.
4. Prices and payment
4.1 Prices are shown in the currency you select at checkout. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, including any shipping costs shown before you confirm your order.
4.2 UK orders: prices include UK VAT where applicable.
4.3 Orders to the EU, Norway and other non-UK countries: your order is shipped from the United Kingdom and may be subject to import VAT, customs duties and handling or clearance fees in the destination country. Where we collect these at checkout, they will be shown to you before you pay. Where we do not, they are payable by you on delivery or to the carrier, and are not included in our price. We have no control over these charges and recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering.
4.4 Payment is taken at the time of order using the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
4.5 Your bank or card provider may charge fees for foreign currency transactions. These are outside our control.
5. Delivery
5.1 We deliver to the countries listed at checkout, which include the United Kingdom, Norway and other European countries.
5.2 Any delivery times we give are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Deliveries to countries outside the UK may take longer because of customs clearance.
5.3 Unless we tell you otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of the date your contract is formed. If we cannot meet this, we will contact you and you may cancel your order for a refund of the price paid for any goods not delivered.
5.4 Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them. Ownership passes to you when we have received full payment, including delivery charges.
5.5 Please make sure your delivery address is correct. If delivery fails because of an incorrect address, or because you are unavailable and do not collect the parcel, we may charge reasonable costs of redelivery or return.
5.6 If your order arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, contact us at support@simplif.com as soon as possible and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
6. Returns and your right to cancel (14-day return policy)
6.1 Our return policy is 14 days. You have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. If your order is delivered in several parts, the period starts when you receive the last part.
6.2 To cancel, you must tell us clearly. You can email support@simplif.com with your name, order number and a statement that you wish to cancel.
6.3 You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. Return shipping is paid by you when you change your mind. If the goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, we will cover the reasonable cost of return (see section 7). Please use a tracked service and keep proof of postage, as you remain responsible for the goods until we receive them. Returns from outside the UK may attract customs charges; marking the parcel as a returned consumer item may help reduce these.
6.4 Where you validly cancel under this section, we will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or of receiving evidence that you have sent them back, if earlier). We will refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery cost you paid. We are not required to refund extra costs if you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
6.5 You are responsible for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We may reduce your refund accordingly.
6.6 The right to cancel does not apply to certain goods, including:
- goods made to your specification or clearly personalised;
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery;
- goods which are by nature mixed inseparably with other items after delivery.
Where any of these apply to a product, we will say so on the product page.
7. Faulty goods and your legal rights
7.1 We are legally required to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for their purpose and as described. If you buy from us in the UK, your rights are set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In summary, if goods are faulty you may be entitled to reject them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, or to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as the law provides.
7.2 If you live outside the UK, you may have additional rights under the mandatory consumer law of your country (for example, a longer period to complain about defects). Those rights are not affected by these terms.
7.3 To report a fault, email support@simplif.com with your order number, a description of the problem and, where possible, photos. Please do this promptly after discovering the fault. If your claim is valid, we will pay reasonable costs of returning the goods and will repair, replace or refund in line with your legal rights.
7.4 Faults caused by accident, misuse, failure to follow instructions, unauthorised repair or alteration, or normal wear and tear are not covered.
8. Refunds
8.1 Where you are legally entitled to a refund (for example, a valid cancellation under section 6, a faulty item under section 7, or an order we cannot fulfil), we will refund you as required by law.
8.2 In all other cases, refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and we will decide whether a refund (in full or in part) is appropriate in the circumstances. Please contact us at support@simplif.com with your order number and the reason for your request.
8.3 We aim to reply to all refund requests within 3 working days of receiving them.
8.4 Where a refund is approved, it will be made to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take several further days to appear in your account.
9. Our responsibility to you
9.1 We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage you suffer as a result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.
9.2 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, defective products under applicable product liability law, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9.3 We supply goods for domestic and private use only. We are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
10. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes, carrier or customs disruption, or border closures. We will tell you as soon as we reasonably can and take reasonable steps to limit the effect. If the event continues for a long period, either of us may cancel the affected order and we will refund anything you have paid for goods not delivered.
11. Your personal data
We collect and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website. We handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and, where relevant, the EU and EEA GDPR.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos and the Simplif name, is owned by or licensed to Simplif and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
13. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@simplif.com. We will acknowledge it promptly and aim to resolve it within 14 days.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
14.1 These terms, and any contract between you and us, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
14.2 If you live in England and Wales, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in the courts of Scotland or England and Wales. If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland or England and Wales.
14.3 If you live outside the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of that country.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to your purchase.
